Boston Engagement Photography: Elyse and Tim

It’s just like everyone says – cleaner than NYC, but with the perfect amount of activity and attractions! Boston is absolutely remarkable in so many ways and every time we are there we catch ourselves with a sudden itch to move and call it our new home. The architecture, the eateries, the gardens all catch our eye as we saunter through the streets, giving us plenty of those, ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ moments. So while we are not having any immediate relocation plans, the next best thing is of course to shoot there! When Elyse and Tim mentioned that they would want to take their engagement session in some of their favorite areas around Boston where they currently reside, we were game!

Elyse and Tim were amazing in trusting us to capture their favorite spots as we saw them and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Literally at every turn there would be something new and we are grateful for their patience as we paused numerous times to ‘capture’ that one frame. It was as though we were hanging out with new friends talking about everyday life, psychology, and breweries! One of the best parts of these shoots is to see the progression of our couples’ from nervous excitement at the start of the shoot regarding what they’re supposed to do leading to completely relaxed and naturalness midway to the end of the shoot. It’s great to see them embrace it, make it their own, and in turn we walk away with photos that immediately transport us to that perfect moment.
