A few weeks back we got to spend a gorgeous early autumn day with Lisette and Derek at probably one of our favorite places this year at the Waveny House in New Canann. This place is literally a gem hidden in the midst of the bustle of the small-ish town. Over the years, we’ve seen it’s popularity steadily rise, but the expansive park never seems too crowded. It’s the best combo of beautiful gardens, architecture and sweet fields of wild grass. What could top this? Especially when everything is so mellow as the sun sets in the most magnificent way and then you have Lisette and Derek who could make a blank wall look stunning.
