From the very first time we chatted with Jasiel over the phone, we could tell that she was unique – in the best way possible! Jasiel was easy going, joyful, fun, and filled with vibrant laughter. It was so easy to connect one on one, and just chat about everything over the phone even that very first time. Real couples are what we always hope and dream to be able to work with, and Jasiel and James were so easily that couple to us.

This post is so exciting on so many reasons. These images represent so many special and unique parts of the day. So many moments highlighting the important bonds they share as a family, parent, best friend, and soul mates. Watching them give time to each of those relationships was heartwarming. It easily made us fall in love with them even more.

Jasiel and James planned the wedding with so many beautiful details. The florals were to die for, the venue one of our absolute favorites, a candy bar to fulfill every kid’s (and that kid in us!) sweet tooth, and a wedding dress we couldn’t stop drooling over. Yet, throughout the planning process, Jasiel mentioned that the guests were THE most important part of the day to them. Everything else was a secondary. The fact that they had family and friends traveling from all parts of the country, folks who had been with them through all the different stages of their lives – this what what they wanted to honor and celebrate.

That night we left with happy hearts and a deep conviction that we are doing exactly what we are supposed to be doing. We can get a curve ball with weather, mini emergencies or general life, but people like Jasiel and James are enough to overcome any bit of it. They trivialize it all; instead making these moments the focus. Our jobs are so exciting, so fulfilling, and so rewarding because of them.
