Krista and Brian’s wedding brought forth a lot of happy ‘firsts’ for us. For the first time, we had a groomsmaid and a bridesman in a rocking bridal party. A dress that was swoonworthy! Equally fantastic and creative as the dress were the custom clock cufflinks donned by all of the guys. And a sprinkle covered cake??! We thought it would end there, but the king of all firsts honor definitely went to the epic signs proudly stamped across the Lawn Club. For if any guest arrived in doubt, the minute they would pull within the area, they would know they were here at the right celebration. It was a perfect way to pay homage to their life and work styles while taking it back to when they first met. What started it all, what carried it through, and what brought them to the altar this day…politics!
As the sun shone brighter that day, everyone’s smiles and spirits lifted even higher. There were moments that were sweet, hilarious, emotional, and sentimental culminating what was a perfect day. Grateful were we to be there, to experience it side by side with them.
